We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Glass Technician to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview:

As an Auto Glass Technician at Platinum Auto Glass, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality auto glass repair and replacement services to our valued customers. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and materials, ensuring that every job is completed to the highest standards of safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Auto Glass Repair and Replacement: Perform repairs and replacements on windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other auto glass components. Ensure that all work meets industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Explain the repair or replacement process, answer questions, and address any concerns to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Vehicle Assessment: Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of glass damage and recommend appropriate services. Accurately assess and document damage to provide detailed estimates.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself, the customer, and the vehicle. Ensure that all equipment and materials are used correctly and safely.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and manage inventory of auto glass, adhesives, and tools. Report any shortages or damaged items to ensure timely restocking and operational efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated with industry advancements, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an auto glass technician or similar role is preferred. Experience in auto body repair or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Proficiency in using auto glass repair tools and equipment.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) certification) are advantageous.
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the job, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
