Physical Therapy Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

The Physical Therapy Technician duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Opening the clinic (we start very early in the morning, first patient is treated at 6:45 A.M.)
  • Bring patients back to treatment rooms for therapists
  • Cleaning treatment rooms after each use
  • Ensure all exam areas, gym area, restrooms, etc, are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, as well as daily laundry and vacuuming
  • Assisting with copying and documentation of therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs
  • Utilizing downtime with tasks such as updating home exercise programs and keeping office clean and rooms stocked
  • Closing down the clinic (cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, stocking treatment rooms etc.)
  • Assist therapists with modalities such as e-stim, light therapy, etc

This is an entry level position, and ideal for students perusing a career in physical therapy. No treatment of patients by the technician will be performed.

Hours:

  • Monday 6:30 – 5:00
  • Tuesday 6:30 – 5:00
  • Wednesday 6:30 – 1:00
  • Thursday 6:30 – 5:00
  • Friday 6:30-1:00

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION ONLY, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF ABLE TO WORK ABOVE HOURS. No weekend hours available as the clinic is closed Saturday & Sunday.
