Position: System Administrator II

Location: Tyler, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call support for owners, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Manage and maintain Office 365 (O365) and Active Directory systems.
  • Handle daily interactions with owners in a highly professional manner.
  • Support macOS environments, while the rest of the company utilizes Windows systems.
  • Think on your feet to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and performance.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is ideal.
  • Proficiency in managing O365 and Active Directory environments.
  • Experience providing support for macOS systems, particularly in a mixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with owners and stakeholders professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
