The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the second shift operations, ensuring production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader with a strong background in plastic injection molding to contribute to our dynamic and growing company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift production team. • Ensure all production schedules are met in a timely manner. • Monitor and maintain quality standards, implementing corrective actions as needed. • Train and mentor production staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. • Enforce safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. • Collaborate with other shift supervisors and management to achieve production goals. • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime. • Maintain accurate production and inventory records. • Properly and safely shut down equipment and facility at the end of 2nd shift. QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or associate degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. • Plastic injection molding experience strongly preferred. • Candidates with set-up experience are eligible for a higher pay rate. • Strong leadership and team-building skills. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work 2nd shift hours (3:30 PM - 12:30 AM). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and production management software
