Remote Collaborative Psychiatrist Needed for Small Practice
Position Overview: Small hybrid practice based in Florida focusing on whole body wellness, including primary care services, hormone replacement, weight management, peptide therapy, and mental health. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced collaborating psychiatrist. The collaborating physician will work remotely and will play a crucial role in ensuring that our practice adheres to all relevant regulations and guidelines set forth by the Florida State Board of Nursing and the Board of Medicine. We are currently seeking a remote collaborating provider to meet state requirements for one dual certified nurse practitioner in family and psychiatric mental health.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Collaborative Physician in accordance with applicable law and terms and conditions of the NP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement.
- Fulfill any state-specific requirement as a collaborator.
- Stay informed about changes in state regulations affecting collaborative practice agreements.
- Conduct monthly chart audits per state law.
- The average time requirement is approximately 1-2 hours per month.
- Provide mentorship and valuable feedback to assigned nurse practitioner.
- Complete any required documentation in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Active MD/DO license, psychiatric specialization from an accredited institution.
- Current board certification in Psychiatry
- Active/Valid and unrestricted Florida State medical license (multistate licenses strongly preferred).
- Active Florida DEA license (again multistate licenses strongly preferred) with authorization for prescribing medications from all schedules.
- Carry and maintain personal malpractice insurance.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills to include electronic medical records, videoconferencing, and Microsoft Office.
- Support nurse practitioners in practice and as business owners.
Pay
- Negotiable starting @$200/month/nurse practitioner
