DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector to join our 2nd shift team in Merrimack, New Hampshire. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality for our products. Your attention to detail and expertise in mechanical inspections will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed and accurate mechanical inspections such as FAI’s, Gage R&R, OQ, PQ, and IQ inspections to drawing requirements. 
  • Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as a CMM, micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to perform measurements and assessments
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or deviations from specifications
  • Document inspection results and maintain detailed inspection reports
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify the underlying causes of quality issues
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a mechanical inspection
  • Minimum 1 year CMM experience
  • Must have basic CMM programming experience required with knowledge of Hexagon PCDMIS
  • Must have experience with optical comparators, tool mics, pin gages, etc.
  • Must have basic understanding of GD&T measurements
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications confidently
