Inventory Specialist

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Seeking experienced individual to coordinate tracking of raw materials and finished goods that are owned by the company and the customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage company owned inventory to maintain accuracy of physical inventory and ERP system
- Work in unison with the Inventory Control Dept. in the plant for inventory physical verification, cycle counts, and investigation of inventory discrepancies
- Issue receiving paperwork and maintain records of all raw materials and communication with customers regarding inventory
- Ensure that customers have shipped materials and they are delivered in a timely manner to optimize production throughput
- Work with Purchasing to monitor inventory levels for upcoming blends including follow up with customers
- Schedule and handle transactions needed to maintain efficient inventory levels of materials using ERP
- Communicate with external and internal customers regarding inventory
- Prepare reports as required by management and customers
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in the chemical industry preferred
- ERP experience with proficiency in Inventory
- General knowledge of inventory management systems/procedures
- Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong initiative and problem solving expertise
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation: DOE, full time (M-F) with full benefits package. Drug/Smoke Free Environment.
