Job Title: Field Service Technician

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Shift / Hours: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm

Location: Salinas, CA

Pay Range: $21 - $22/Hour

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Installs, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
  • Responsible for providing emergency response and system installation and testing.
  • Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations.
  • During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires.
  • May work on propane appliances when needed and assist with deliveries, based on customer demands
  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, liquids, humid, or extreme conditions.
  • Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware washing, and other specialty foodservice equipment.
  • Demonstrate your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
  • Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Kitchen Equipment, including ware washing, and other specialty foodservice equipment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Kitchen equipment repair: 1 year (Required)
  • Washer / Dryer equipment repair: 1 year (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
