We have 4 Warehouse Associate Direct Hire Roles we are seeking to fill within a thriving organization.

Be part of a team of dedicated slab handlers pulling slabs of Natural Stone, Quartz, Marble and utilizing a sit-down forklift as well as being part of an inside overhead crane operation working on the loading docks.

Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $20 to $22 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $54,770 and $71,510 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

This position is a first shift position with the following consistent year-round schedule. MON - FRI 7AM TO 6PM Every other SAT 8AM TO 1PM

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:

  • Pull slabs from the warehouse from the slab orders provided
  • Move slabs to loading areas by using overhead cranes
  • Load slabs on customer’s vehicle/truck
  • Ensure that product is well secured on vehicle/truck and takes all necessary safety measures
  • Unload slabs from containers using forklifts
  • Arrange slabs properly by forklift/crane in Slab Warehouse
  • Responsible for maintaining the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
  •  

Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

  • 2 years' experience operating a sit-down forklift
  • Ability to use Smart Phones/Tablets
  • Good communicate skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • High School Education required.
  • Two (2) plus years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience with inside overhead crane operation is a plus.
