Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. in Seattle, WA. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient storage, shipping, and receiving of finished goods to fire sprinkler contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Responsible for all tasks associated with the shipping and receiving functions at a distribution center, including scanning barcodes, using a handheld scanner, to deliver materials to the target location within the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment to store and retrieve inventory.
  • Customer Service: Assists Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Quality Control: Reports any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse or Operations Supervisor.
  • Communication: Reports backorders to the Customer Service Department.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 6+ months of warehouse experience
  • Skills: Outstanding organization and documentation skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong commitment to a team environment, ability to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks in a timely manner.
