Dixie Line Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Representative.

  • Serves customers by completing account transactions.
  • Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, and recording night and mail deposits.
  • Sells cashier’s checks.
  • Answers questions in person or on telephone and refers customers to other bank services as necessary.
  • Records transactions by logging cashier’s checks, certified checks, and other special services; preparing currency transaction reports.
  • Completes special requests by closing accounts, taking orders for checks, opening and closing Christmas club accounts.
  • Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins.
  • Reconciles loan coupons and other transactions.
  • Maintains supply of cash and currency and turns in excess cash and mutilated currency to head teller.
  • Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions, maintaining customer traffic surveys, auditing other tellers’ currency, and assisting in certification of proof.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Day-to-day job duties include Answering phones calls, putting in ACHs and Wire Transfers, keeping track of insurance on vehicles, making payments on customers' accounts, ordering debit cards, opening accounts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1 year of Cash Handling Experience
  • 1 year of customer service (Preferred)
  • Establish a professional presence in the community as a representative of the Credit Union
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and thoroughness.

Available to work Monday - Thursday 7:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $16.00 per hour (based on previous banking experience)

To be hired for this position, candidates must have an acceptable credit history. DLCU will run a credit report prior to employment. Good credit history is considered an essential element for this position. In addition, the candidate must pass a background check.
