Job DescriptionJob Description

Our Organization is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licenced Clinical Social Worker to join our team This individual will provide individual, group, marriage and family counseling, and must be comfortable working with individuals of all ages. Minimum two years post-graduate experience is required. Other program coordination duties are involved. The work schedule is primarily 8:30 am- 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Some after-hours group work may be required. We will also consider an Associate Licensed Counselor or Licensed Master Social Worker who is on track to obtain their LPC/LICSW credential in the near future. Salary will be commensurate with experience and credentialing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral and mental health assessments
  • Provide therapy to individuals with a variety of mental, emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and other agencies to meet client needs
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and oversee any assigned programs
  • Conduct group sessions

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
  • Familiarity with community resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong teamwork skills and personal initiative
  • Group facilitation skills
  • Public speaking skills are a plus
