At JR Maintenance Facilities, we believe that a well-maintained environment reflects our commitment to quality and service. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our facilities.

Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Worker will play a key role in ensuring that our facility is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. This position involves various maintenance tasks, primarily focusing on the exterior of the building, and will require an eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including cleaning bathrooms and taking out trash.

- Ensure the exterior of the building is visually appealing and well-maintained.

- Conduct minor repairs on building structures, including fixing outside walls and addressing any wear and tear.

- Maintain and repair outdoor sprinklers and other irrigation systems.

- Assist with minor landscaping tasks to enhance the overall curb appeal of the facility.

- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.

- Collaborate with team members to report and address any urgent maintenance issues.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

- Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and landscaping practices.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects as necessary.

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
