We are seeking a Residential Construction Superintendent. The candidate's primary responsibilities is to manage all functions of the job site as it relates to home construction. The superintendent manages the construction of multiple homes from permit to closing by scheduling and supervising job site contractors and inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct construction activities on the building site
  • Schedule subcontractors for each phase of construction
  • Approve work being performed by subcontractors and handle related issues
  • Verify all inspections are scheduled and passed
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable building codes
  • Authorize payment of subcontractors upon inspection of work
  • Maintain safe and clean work sites
  • Conduct homeowner orientation
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner
  • Develop and maintain a good rapport with subcontractors and inspectors
  • Monitor and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple job sites at the same time
  • Must have vehicle capable of carrying supplies, valid driver's license and be willing to drive to designated job sites 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing and oral form
  • Proficiency with MS office and email
