Hello We're looking for a HEDIS Quality Specialist to work with a reputable Managed Care Organization in a fully remote setting in CST time Zone preferred.


Pay Rate: $21- $22 hourly


4 Month Contract for HEDIS Season


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide outreach to providers to request medical records.
  • Process incoming medical records.
  • Track received medical records.
  • Retrieve all requested medical records per metrics and deadlines.
  • Heavy chart monitoring and auditing of medical records.
  • Monitor the production of quality results reporting; analyze, track and trend the reporting results and report them to management.
  • Formulate and prepare ad-hoc and additional reporting requirements.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement quality improvement plans with management.
  • Train providers and staff in methodologies and tools of continuous quality improvement.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with State agencies, providers, and stakeholders.
  • Perform audits to meet state and internal requirements.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Strong telephonic communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy a must.

Additional Details:

  • Must have fast internet connection
  • Must have availability Monday - Friday (8 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • 40 hours work week
  • Computer and cell phone will be provided by company.
  • Metrics will be taken on PA entries and calls made.
