Responsibilities:

• Find, negotiate, and book loads in a timely manner for our customers.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and clients to ensure prompt delivery.
• Utilize transportation management software for tracking and updating shipments.
• Analyze data for informed transportation planning and routing decisions.
• Monitor and record vehicle locations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing instructions and updates as needed.
• Maintain precise records of all dispatch activities.

Skills:

• Good communicatIon and negotiations skills are a must have.
• Detail oriented and good at keeping records.
• Proficient in all dispatch procedures and knowledgeable in freight logistics
• Proficient in working on all major load boards.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations
• Minimum of 8 months experience working as a freight dispatcher.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30
• Weekends if needed
• On-Call
• Work from the comfort of your home.
