Job Summary:

Warrior Service Company is seeking an experienced Certified Respiratory Therapist to support our growing operations in Lexington, KY. The Respiratory Therapist will work on a full-time basis, partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to serve our Veterans in the Lexington, KY area. The ideal candidate is an experienced RT who is looking for more of a clerical role behind the computer, maybe nearing retirement or looking for change in the environment. In addition, possess the relevant certification, skills and abilities thus ensuring they’re equipped to perform the required duties to serve our veterans.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review Dept. of VA Prescriptions.
  • Consult with Dept. of VA, discharge nurse and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans.
  • Answer CSR questions relating to oxygen care.
  • Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment, like when caring for patients in intensive care.
  • Educate patients on how to use equipment and medication.
  • Regularly check-in on patients and equipment.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution - Required
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist - Preferred
  • Current Respiratory Therapist License - Required
  • CPR Certified - Required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association

Job Type:

  • Part Time On-Call

Salary:

  • $70000 per year
