Simmons Security is currently seeking an industry experienced Technicians that would be responsible to install and or perform service to burglar and fire alarms, access control, CCTV and audio video systems in both residential and commercial buildings. Home Automation including Control 4 programming and A/V rack installations. Low voltage electrical experience including alarm systems FASA and or BASA certification is preferred. The ability to use of electrician hand tools including a volt-ohm meter, drills and other power tools, ladders, powered lifts is required. Minimum high school education. Willing and able to pass a drug screening and background check. Compensation and benefits are dependent upon qualifications, experience level and interview process. Power tools, ladders and Company supplied.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and program new alarm and security systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
  • Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
  • Monitor inventory of service parts

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Previous or Current FASA/BASA Certification
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
