One of our clients is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $160,000 per year based on your experience. You will work on-site at this small/medium office, which is near the Des Moines metro.

Some of your responsibilities as Tax Manager include:

  • Lead and manage multiple operations of tax practice
  • Serve as business advisor to clients
  • Building and maintaining professional client relationships
  • Preparing returns of variety of structures
  • Oversee staff
  • Providing tax planning strategies
  • Managing and coordinating audits
  • Process improvements
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

To qualify, you must have 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting tax work as well as the following:

  • CPA, active
  • BA Accounting/MA in Taxation
  • 5+ years’ experience in public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of tax law
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • CPA preferred (degree in accounting considered)
  • Knowledge of Lacerte tax software a plus
