We seek an enthusiastic and knowledgeable experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound) or ultrasound Instructor, a team player. There are different schedules available, morning, evening, and weekend. Full-Time Or Part-Time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach classes according to the assigned schedule.
- Follow the Syllabus and Daily Lesson Plans
- Teach and instruct within the assigned course(s) by the defined learning objectives of the AMAT school and specified textbook
- Teach students scanning techniques and approaches
- Monitor students learning and scanning progress
- Evaluate student progress and assist with student growth and success by scanning
- Maintain current Continuing Medical Education (CME) according to the ARDMS requirements
- Bring problems to the attention of their immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Graduated from a DMS certificate program
- ARDMS, RVT, Current licensure in good standing within their discipline
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer at an imaging facility/hospital/clinic
- Maintains records of students' performance and activities during skill sessions
- Maintains knowledge of program goals
- Maintains current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development
