If you are a hardworking, self-motivated, self-starter and can work independently, we would like to interview you for our Network Cabling Technical staff.

Qualifications

Lift experience may be required

Full PPE (hard hat, boots, gloves, glasses) required

Basic Tools (screw driver, snips, etc) required

Must be comfortable working on lifts 30 - 40 feet in the air or on ladders.

 

Responsibilities

Installation, termination, testing and troubleshooting of Cat 6 cables or fiber optics

Work with various cable that include but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi -mode fiber optic cables

Installation of ladder racks, J-hooks, cameras, WAPs for a large distribution center / warehouse

Install new IT related hardware/software, upgrade, and troubleshoot systems for hardware/software problems at the customer’s location

Install Computer related equipment

Install and test Structured Cabling

Install and wireless devices and IP cameras

Manage and organize network closets and cabling

Install network cabinets and hardware

Experience with VOIP phone systems is a plus

Report to On-Site service manager for additional jobs and responsibilities

Excellent at troubleshooting and uses prior knowledge of computers, alternate resources, and ingenuous problem-solving skills to find solutions for system problems

Communicates with customers in a professional manner

Works overtime as necessary. This is not often but can happen from time to time.

Handles all customer and company property in an ethical and responsible manner

Able to determine project deadlines and assign projects as necessary

Able to manage service inventory and oversee all process involved in the service center

Takes responsible for duties, obligations, and output of the service center
