Job DescriptionJob Description

Premier sheetfed  printing company in IA  is busy.   Due to expansion and client demand the company is searching to hire a Lead Sheetfed Press Operator for 1 shift.
Responsibilities include:

  • Read and interpret job orders.
  • Make ready, operation and maintenance of  state-of-the-art 40" Heidelberg sheetfed offset press.
  • Print quality products on schedule meeting or exceeding client expectations.  
  • Check print quality throughout the runs.
  • Troubleshoot press problems as they occur.  
  • Work with pressroom supervisor on job schedules and time specifications.
  • Take part in client press okays.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum  of 5  years' experience operating multi-unit 40" offset sheetfed presses; experience on Heidelberg a plus.
  • Good eye for color required.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Works well in a team.
