Job DescriptionJob Description

Kennedy Property Development is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a developer and general contractor, we specialize in a variety of projects including redevelopments, full remodels of single family and multifamily properties, and new construction. We are looking for a motivated individual with expertise in various carpentry tasks and the ability to work well with a small team or independently. This is a full-time position based in Saint Paul.

Responsibilities:

- Perform demolition work according to project requirements

- Frame structures, including landings and stairs, based on architectural and structural plans

- Conduct framing tasks with and without plans, ensuring accuracy and precision

- Install insulation to meet energy efficiency standards

- Handle light sheetrock and paint as needed

- Execute finish carpentry tasks such as installing cabinets, flooring, tile, doors, and windows

Requirements:

- Proven experience in carpentry

- Ability to interpret architectural and structural plans accurately

- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment

- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to meet project deadlines
