Job DescriptionJob Description

Cleo Marketing Studio is looking for a creative-minded and data-driven digital strategist to bring on board. This part-time (10-15 hours a week) role will primarily focus on SEO, but you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at other digital marketing disciplines as well, including Google Ads, web development, and social media (if you’re up for that)

Your day to day will look a little something like this:

  • You’ll develop strategies to drive the right traffic to our client’s websites, using competitive analysis and keyword research to inform your recommendations

  • You’ll create content to serve users at every stage of the funnel—top, middle, and bottom—always keeping in mind the user’s intent and the principles of great user experiences

  • You’ll keep our clients’ Google Business Profiles up-to-date with fresh, relevant content

  • You’ll keep an eye on performance and use the data to inform changes to strategy (when needed)

Who you are:

  • You’re a go-getter who thrives when challenged to think outside the box. You’re never satisfied with the bare minimum

  • You love keeping your finger on the pulse of changes to the digital marketing industry and bringing these insights into your workflow

  • You’re an effective written communicator who can deliver well-informed, grammatically-correct writing regardless of the platform

  • You are self-motivated and effective at managing your time (aka: you don’t need to be micromanaged to get stuff done)

  • You live by the phrase: quality over quantity

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with CMS platforms like Wordpress, Squarespace, etc.

  • Experience with local SEO

  • A keen eye for design and UX
