Temporary position approx. 4 months and a week, always a possibility of extension.
Compensation -
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Duties -
Include but are not limited to
- Assisting and supporting the patients and their families during clinical visits.
- Managing patient records.
- Must initiate and maintain correspondence with patients and insurance companies.
- Returning uncompleted Medical Record forms to the Provider for completion.
- Completing patient charting as necessary.
- Responsible for preparing patients and rooms for an exam according to specific procedures.
- Accurately and legibly documents vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperatures, O2, saturations and finger sticks.
- Ensures to sign off with a legible signature.
- Assists providers and nurses with specific treatment procedures and supports patients throughout the procedure.
- Performs EKG’s, hearing and vision tests, Urine Dipsticks, Urine Pregnancy Tests and other CLIA waived tests when necessary. Ensures the necessary equipment and information are available for exam. Ensures all instruments and supplies are used properly and sanitized/autoclaved. Performs all other duties as required
Qualifications -
1) Certification: Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support certification.
2) Shift: Full-time, 40 hours a week. Must be available to work overtime if needed.
3) Background: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation and verification of employment history and education including a physical exam and drug screening
4) Working Conditions: Working conditions involve exposure to hazardous and infectious materials and communicable diseases.
5) Must have 9 months or more of Front/Back office experience
Minimum Requirements -
License: Must possess and maintain a current Medical Assistant diploma/certificate

Certification: Must possess Basic Life Support certification.
