Responsibilities:

  • This is an exciting position that offers the chance to affect how service information is written for technicians. You will also have the ability to learn and grow your automotive knowledge while working with engineering on new and existing technology.
  • This role will be writing diagnostic and/or removal & installation procedures. These will vary from simple to complex. We author service information using engineering documentation, CAD, and on-vehicle validation using hands-on understanding and problem solving of components and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Previous dealership technician or relevant authoring experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School or collegiate automotive degree is a bonus but not mandatory
  • Understanding of basic electrical components and electromechanical systems
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Competent with using Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Able to work well with multidisciplinary teams
