HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Dispensing Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Daily Responsibilities for Dispensing Pharmacy Technician:
  • Fill daily prescription orders: punch cards, bulk items, OTCs, compounding, cassettes, prepacks, etc.
  • Stock and restock medication inventory
  • Print daily orders for the pharmacy, and print labels and delivery sheets
  • Process daily shorts and punch card buckets
  • Reorder the bulks and shorts
  • Create and maintain the punch-card calendar and maintain the calendar board
  • Receive any incoming shipment of medication and handle all related paperwork
  • Must have open availability to be scheduled as needed. M-F 8-hour shifts between 8:30am-10pm (shifts listed below) with a weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend.  Variable shifts with max at 40 hours a week.
    • Opening shift – 8:30am-4:30pm
    • Closing shift – 12:30pm-10pm, 1pm-10pm, or 2pm-10pm depending on business needs
       
Required Qualifications for Dispensing Pharmacy Technician:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Clear and valid pharmacy technician license in MN
  • 1+ year of pharmacy dispensing experience, LTC preferred. Will consider those with a background in hospital or retail  
  • Team is very big on soft skills, they want someone on the team who is passionate and interested in LTC Pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications for Dispensing Pharmacy Technician:
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification

Pay Details: $18/hour - $21/hour
