Wonder Years Preschool is seeking a certified Preschool Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

At First Presbyterian Church our mission is to welcome and nurture our community, help people grow as disciples of Christ, and present a positive witness in today’s world.

Wonder Years Preschool is a presbyterian preschool ages 18 months to – 5 years old. We are located in Bonita Springs, Florida, a mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs. We offer small class sizes in a developmentally appropriate and supportive environment. Applicants must have a love of Lord and walk in the life of faith.

Wonder Years provides a Christian, caring and loving environment for its staff, students and families. We provide training and encourage growth and development in the teachers and their skills. We have daily morning devotions to encourage and lift one another up.

Responsibilities:
*Teach and oversee preschool class, supervising children at all times and maintaining child safety policies.
*Plan developmentally appropriate lesson plans using the schools curriculum.
*Monitor student growth and development.
*Conduct parent/teacher conferences.
*Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
*Maintain leadership responsibilities associated with the classroom.
*Have the physical ability to lift or carry a child and sit on the floor.

Job type: Part time

Benefits: PTO, Professional development assistance and employee discount.

Experience: Teaching 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule: 6 hour shift (8 am-2 pm) *Mandatory in-service and school events.

License/Certification: High School diploma (required), DCF 40 Hours, CDA, Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.

Background checked and drug screening required.

Work Location: In Person
