SUMMARY: Feeser’s seeks a well-organized, team-oriented professional to coordinate our hiring needs. Manages the recruiting programs, strategies, and processes to obtain top talent. Provides expertise, best practice knowledge, and recommendations for talent acquisition processes and strategy, and monitors performance. Manages and executes candidate searches across the region.

This is an in-person position in Harrisburg, PA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develops and executes overall talent acquisition and retention strategies.

· Manages the recruitment software including creating automation workflows.

· Manages the employee assessment process including the software platform.

· Develops relationships with outside parties such as vocational schools as a source for recruitment of drivers.

· Develops creative solutions to staffing in a very competitive job market.

· Contributes to a system of internal controls by developing procedures, processes, and documentation.

· Engages in forecasting and planning of staffing needs.

· Ensures that there is an effective and efficient process in place for all staffing related activities, including job requisitions, salary ranges, and interviewing.

· Ensures Feeser’s is using best practice activities and resources to secure top talented, diverse slate of candidates, including direct sourcing activities, effective posting and advertising, strategic use of college recruiting & career fair activities.

· Meets with the HR and business unit leaders to ensure a comprehensive and realistic talent acquisition plan is in place to meet the current and future hiring needs.

· Builds relationships with industry and professional associations to stay abreast of business trends and continually build robust pipelines of passive candidates.

· Employer Branding: Leverages all available channels to promote Feeser’s brand in talent market (including digital media) in collaboration with our Marketing team.

· Working with HR and hiring managers to initiate searches including, job description approval, prioritizing competencies, agreeing on interviewers, etc.

· Providing on-going communication of search activities and potential candidates

· Create a Compensation Analysis for each job title and review annually.

· Collaborate with hiring managers on offer letters and non-compete contracts for new hires as needed.

· Evaluates the ATS and HRIS system being utilized and recommends improvements and automation opportunities.

· Play an intricate role in the onboarding and offboarding process.

· Assists with Event Planning.

· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Has an in-depth understanding of current best practice talent acquisition methodologies, technologies, operations, and regulatory issues.

· Champions new ideas and initiatives and creates an environment that supports innovation; leverages fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas and new paradigms to create more effective ways to hire top talent.

· Knows and applies advanced concepts, practices and procedures for recruiting/selection including sourcing, pipelining, and identification of key talent pools both internal and external.

· Must have a strong ability to identify, analyze and assimilate the components of an identified focus within talent acquisition activities, develop & recommend clear strategies, processes, and methods for ensuring compliance.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside of the company.

· Able to use past experiences and current situations to develop plans and strategies to reach future goals, both short- and long-term goals and to understand and think bigger picture

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 1-3 Years of recruitment experience required.

· Recruitment experience in a distribution environment preferred.

· Well-developed computer aptitude with proficient skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly.
