Urogynecology Physician Assistant Position

Certified Florida Licensed Physician Assistant – Specializing in Women’s Health/Urology/Gynecology/Urogynecology

The Florida Center for Urogynecology (FCU) is seeking a Physician Assistant with a clinical specialty in women's health or experience in urology to join our team. Candidates desiring to work part time or full time will be considered.

This is an excellent career opportunity for a midlevel provider to join our team. FCU is a unique, 20-year old practice located in Hollywood, FL devoted exclusively to the management of benign gynecologic conditions. As the only practice in South Florida combining the expertise and experience of two fellowship-trained urogynecologists and a minimally-invasive fellowship trained gynecologist, FCU excels at addressing women’s health needs with innovative techniques and a caring approach. Our team also includes three experienced physician assistants and two pelvic floor physical therapists. All members of the team work side-by-side in one office setting. We compliment our team by hiring pre-PA students for internships to assist with patient care alongside our medical assistants. The philosophy of the office is to improve quality of life for women by integrating medical and surgical treatments with pelvic muscular therapy. Caseload includes care of patients needing routine gynecologic assessment, contraception, hormone replacement therapy, non-surgical treatment for pelvic organ prolapse, abnormal bleeding, urinary and vaginal infections, urinary incontinence, and routine post-operative care. As urogynecology care encompasses both urology and gynecology, strong candidates with experience limited to urology or limited to gynecology will be considered and trained in their deficient areas. The patient volume is very comfortable, allowing you to enjoy providing comprehensive patient-centered care. The physicians are available daily for consultation. Call schedule is 1 week per month or less with physician back-up. Hospital work is rare and call mostly involves triaging a low volume of phone calls. We have one office location and our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday from 8:00am-1:30pm. Our team also has a weekly didactic conference to discuss patient care and educational topics.
