Master Craft Floors is a leading contractor in the commercial flooring industry. Our goal is to provide every client with the highest level of expertise, craftsmanship and service. Our team of highly trained INSTALL certified mechanics and project managers has been providing outstanding commercial flooring solutions to the Metropolitan Detroit and Las Vegas areas for over 40 years. We are currently looking for a Floor Technician to work out of our headquarters located in Plymouth, MI.

Starting pay range of $18.00 - $20.00 hourly

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the floors and carpets in the location or jobsite assigned to work in.
  • Vacuum, mop, scrub and run machinery needed to remove any stains on a flooring surface to keep them in a hygienic state.
  • Placing the proper signs or notifications nearby to alert others that floors may be wet or slippery.
  • Ensure all solvents and chemical cleaners are used according to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • In some cases, you may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light duty cleaning tasks.
  • Drive company vehicle(s) to assigned jobsites
  • Typical shifts would begin in the afternoon/evening. Some morning and midday work may be available. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong active listening capability and attention to detail needed to clearly understand what is required of tasks assigned.
  • Prior floor cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
