Arts Bonita is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to fill the role of Patron Services Manager. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patron services department across two campuses: the Visual Art Center and the Performing Art Center. Responsibilities include registering students for classes, selling tickets, processing gift certificates, and supervising a team of patron service staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee patron services operations at both the Visual Art Center and the Performing Art Center campuses.
  • Register students for a diverse range of classes offered at both locations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the registration process.
  • Sell tickets for various concerts, performances, and events hosted by Arts Bonita.
  • Process gift certificates efficiently and accurately, maintaining detailed records of transactions.
  • Supervise and manage a team of patron service staff at each campus, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules for both campuses, ensuring adequate coverage while optimizing company resources.
  • Foster a friendly, outgoing, and positive atmosphere within the patron services teams.
  • Serve as a role model for excellent customer service, handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and on time.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patron services with programming, marketing, and operations at both campuses.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Arts Bonita's offerings, policies, and procedures to assist patrons and staff effectively.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall patron experience and increase customer satisfaction at both the Visual Art Center and the Performing Art Center.
  • Monitor and analyze patron service metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards for patron services and ticketing operations.
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Weekends and weeknights as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or patron services role, preferably in an arts or cultural organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patrons, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including ticketing systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • A passion for the arts and a commitment to promoting arts education and engagement.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or patron service role, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patrons, staff, and management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
