Palmer's Contracting Group is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of oversight and management of small projects ranging from facilities and maintenance repairs to small interior fit outs. The successful candidate will posses excellent communication and organizational skills, as required to manage numerous projects simultaneously.

Background in secure construction (SCIF, NISPOM) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to pass background check
