Monday to Friday 7-3:30, some opportunities for overtime. Monthly bonus program can pay up to an additional $12.50/hr.

Responsibilities/daily tasks

  • Disassemble, Inspect incoming jobs from list given each day
  • Verify any concerns listed on work order the customer may have.
  • Clean parts and used seals for proper inspections
  • Stamp work order number on appropriate locations on cylinder
  • Label hoses with work order number
  • Write detailed evaluations of jobs once they are disassembled
  • Notify Cylinder Manager that the job is ready for final inspection.
  • When cylinder is ready for assembly. Verify you have proper work order.
  • Clean, reseal and bench test jobs that are approved on job list
  • Make sure all adapters and parts sent in with job are sent out with finished painted and wrapped job
  • Fill out and attach test tags to outgoing jobs copy test tag and attach that to the estimate
  • Create a list of shop supplies needed for your area and give it to the customer service coordinator to get approval and order them
  • What would make this department work better more efficiently and anything that would save the company money or make the job easier and more profitable

Qualifications:

  • previous experience as a mechanic
  • demonstration of mechanical skill
  • Prior experience with heavy equipment, pumps, motors and/or hydraulics a plus
  • Willing to train individuals with limited experience, but excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn and grow required
