Distribution Specialist

What You'll Do:
- Responsible for:
- Supporting the Distribution Manager and the Supply Chain team by analyzing data, providing reports, maintaining data standards, documenting processes, assisting with communication between supply chain partners (vendors, 3PL, field teams, etc.), and monitoring Key Performance Indicators.
- Assisting Managers on developing project benefits and business cases utilizing operations data.
- Analyze distribution data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement (distribution trends, costs, etc.).
- Utilize data analysis tools and software to enhance team decision-making.
- Monitor performance metrics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities and implement solutions.
- Support regular audits of distribution processes.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and transportation teams.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure open communication and data transparency.
- Maintain and update distribution databases and systems.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.
- Assist with creation of business case and proposals.
- Complete other tasks assigned by manager related to analyzing the supply chain.
What You’ll Bring:
- 4-year degree preferred.
- Detail oriented, extreme accuracy, strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, D365) is a plus.
- Familiar with supply chain, distribution and logistics concepts.
- Comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-directed, ability to effectively manage time and to work with minimal supervision.
