Senior Electronics Technician

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to become an integral part of our team You will assist in the research, design and development of electrical components and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive electrical systems and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and fabricating high-quality electrical components for electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, working across different functional areas to drive results and innovations.
You will be responsible for
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Efficiently troubleshoot and repair low voltage harnesses without the aid of schematics, ensuring all systems meet operational standards.
- Documentation: Clearly document technical issues and repairs completed, providing detailed reports and feedback to engineering teams.
- High Voltage Cabling: Test, build, and install hybrid high voltage cabling systems, utilizing both connectorized and ring terminals/glands to ensure robust and safe connections.
- Best Practices: Apply deep knowledge of automotive electrical best practices to all tasks, ensuring high-quality standards and innovative solutions.
- Harness Construction: Build complex wiring harnesses from both rough schematics and detailed harness drawings, tailoring solutions to specific vehicle requirements.
- Collaboration: Actively collaborate with various teams within the company, including engineering, production, and quality control, to enhance product development and resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and install electrical components and systems
- Assess and modify existing power distribution systems
- Troubleshoot relay and data system designs
- Research and document relay test results
- Track project time lines to complete tasks on schedule
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of relay design standards
- Excellent root cause analysis skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
