The Low Voltage Technician is responsible for the maintenance, operations, and monitoring of the structured cabling and support infrastructure.

The scope of work includes troubleshooting and repairing servers with hardware and network issues.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Install various access control devices
  • Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).
  • Structure cabling in an Industrial / Commercial Facility
  • Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontal, backbone, and other cables.
  • Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Fire stop various types of cable penetrations.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, reach; crouch or crawl in awkward positions.
  • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Tolerate severe hot and cold environments
  • Structured cabling systems
