Job Overview

Conti Corporation is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems, including security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment.
  • Interpret schematics and blueprints to perform installations and repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Perform skilled repair and maintenance operations using tools of the trade.
  • Implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and customer change orders.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in the field of installation experience of physical security systems.
  • BS degree (or Military Equivalent) in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of IP schemes and programming.
  • OSHA Certification 10/30-hour course.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Ability to stand long hours, lift 40 pounds, and work at times in an industrial environment.
  • A valid driver's license, Background Check, and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of, or Certification in the following: Software House, Avigilon, Bosch, alarms, access control, Lenel S2, Crestron, Axis, QSC, Cisco, Genetec.
