Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380
Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm with overtime available
Must haves:
- AA/AS/BA/BS degree in life science or any related field
- Previous lab experience very helpful either in previous position or in school or a willingness to learn
- Must be able to pass a background, drug screen and standard physical.
Laboratory Technician will perform entry level manufacturing functions requiring basic-level production lab skills.
Skills Required:
-Detail oriented
-Multitasker
-Basic PC skills (Microsoft, IE, web-based applications)
-Flexibility to work more than 8 hours
Technical Skills:
*Science background desired
*Basic math skills
*Basic reading/writing skills
1-2 year college courses working towards a scientific degree
-lab experience very helpful either in previous position or in school
-Knowledge on how to use equipment and instruments in a lab setting very helpful
Environmental conditions:
- Workspace contains flammable solvents, carcinogens, and corrosives. Requirement to wear all personal equipment as directed by procedure (gloves, lab coat, safety glasses, possibly face shield).
