Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations and Procurement Officer to play an important role in managing our operational processes and procurement activities towards our imports and distribution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preoperative stage, securing an efficient flow of goods and services while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management:

  • Develop and maintain sound relationships with key suppliers.
  • Manage the daily office management, including logistical and administrative support.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Analyze procurement trends and recommend potential improvements.

2. Inventory Control:

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock and minimizing holding costs.
  • Implement inventory controls and management systems.

3. Operations Oversight:

  • Monitor and optimize day-to-day operational processes at the warehouse, logistic providers, and offices.
  • Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements.

4. Vendor Management:

  • In coordination to the Sales and Marketing team, collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality, delivery, and pricing standards.
  • Resolve any vendor-related issues.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local authorities and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
  • Monitor operational expenses and budget adherence.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Procurement or Operations.
  • 3 years of experience in procurement and operations management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Critical thinking
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 

Working Conditions:
