Summary:

The mitigation estimator is to monitor the Work-In-Process board daily.  Review and manage of all jobs, from leads to active job status through to completion and customer invoicing.  You will work closely with Production Managers and Office Coordinator to maintain accurate Work-In-Process Board.   You will create all jobs on the server, load all documents, load and review photos, consult with all production and perform all estimates for mitigation services.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience with restoration services - mold, water, fire and bio-hazard services.

  • Proficient in Xactimate and Symbility Software.

  • Monitor job file status to ensure accuracy in all of file documentation daily.

  • Communicate daily with Production crews to ensure all required documentation is captured on site at point of task.

  • Create and review estimate based on scope and photos from Production crew.

  • Maintain internal and external communications with all stakeholders.

  • Review timestamps and other datapoints to reflect accurate reporting/KPM's.

  • Complete and review job file documentation for final upload and the audit process.

  • Perform internal audit of all projects to ensure  estimate captures all work performed.  The final job will also be reviewed by the Manager.

  • Perform all job close-out activities, including coordination with accounting team to ensure proper invoicing.

  • Assist other departments, as needed.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED is required.

  • Minimum 2-5 years office/estimating experience preferred.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, strong administrative abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Proficiency in using various digital tools and technologies to complete job tasks efficiently (Xactimate and Symbility software included).

  • Experience in the restoration, construction, or insurance industry is a plus.
