Position Overview: As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets, uncovering actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders. You'll leverage your expertise in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and data visualization to drive business impact and inform decision-making. If you're a seasoned analyst with a passion for turning data into actionable insights and a proven track record of delivering impactful analyses, we want you on our team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical analysis techniques.
  2. Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  3. Data Exploration: Explore and clean datasets to ensure data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing data anomalies, inconsistencies, and missing values.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking and monitoring mechanisms to assess the performance and impact of business intelligence initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  5. Business Insights: Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to stakeholders based on data analysis findings, supporting decision-making and driving business growth.
  6. Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources and systems to create a unified view of business performance and metrics, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  7. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives into specific business questions or problems, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and tools to uncover insights and drive solutions.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions that meet business needs.
  9. Documentation and Reporting: Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of results.
  10. Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior analysts, sharing expertise and best practices in business intelligence, and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a focus on data visualization, statistical analysis, and business insights.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar, and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills, with experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with data integration and data modeling concepts, with the ability to design and implement data models for business intelligence reporting.
