Position Summary:
Del Sol Research Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Community Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital to our clinical research efforts, involving both direct recruitment of study participants and active participation in community outreach events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting potential participants, screening them for eligibility in clinical trials, and representing the company at community events to promote our studies and programs. This position demands excellent communication, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Recruitment Calls: Reach out to leads generated from advertisements to assess their interest in participating in clinical research trials.
  • Screening & Pre-Qualification: Learn and master various study protocols. Conduct telephone screenings by asking potential participants detailed questions to determine their eligibility for specific clinical trials.
  • Bilingual Communication: Engage with potential participants in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear, effective, and culturally sensitive communication.
  • Community Outreach: Participate in community events, health fairs, and other outreach activities. Provide information about our clinical trials and health programs, answer questions, and encourage community members to participate in our studies.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing participant questions, providing accurate information, and maintaining a professional demeanor during all interactions.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all recruitment activities, ensuring that participant data is accurately entered into our database in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Follow-Up & Coordination: Coordinate follow-up calls and communications to keep potential participants engaged and informed about upcoming studies and enrollment opportunities.
  • Event Participation: Occasionally work on weekends or after-hours to staff booths at community events. Engage with event attendees, distribute promotional materials, and discuss the benefits of participating in our research studies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team, study coordinators, and outreach staff to ensure a coordinated and effective recruitment and outreach strategy.
  • Compliance: Follow all company policies and regulatory guidelines, especially those related to participant confidentiality and data protection.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a call center, customer service, community outreach, or clinical research is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail in documenting participant interactions and managing data.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn study protocols and adapt to changing recruitment and outreach needs.
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit with a commitment to contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using phone systems, databases, and other relevant software for tracking recruitment activities.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position with standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Must be willing to work occasional weekends or evenings for community events.
  • Some local travel may be required to attend outreach events and community engagements.
