Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer

 

Evolver Federal is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support a federal customer. The AI Engineer will us AI and machine learning techniques to develop applications and systems that help organizations become more efficient. In this position, the AI Engineer will AI engineering focus on developing the tools, systems, and processes that enable AI to be applied to real-world problems and "train" algorithms by data to help them learn and perform better. Our ideal candidate will help cut costs, increase productivity and profits, and make business recommendations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Implementing machine learning algorithms
  • Running AI systems experiments and tests.
  • Designing and developing machine learning systems
  • Performing statistical analyses
  • Design and deliver AI solutions, with a focus on foundation models, large language models, or similar technologies

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • 5 years of experience with ML frameworks
  • Bachelor's Degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, data science, or mathematics
  • 5 years' experience with programming languages: Python, Java, R, C++, JavaScript
  • 5 years' experience with Data Modeling & Big Data: SQL, NoSQL, SparkSQL, Apache Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, Apache Flink
  • 3 years' experience with cloud technologies: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • 3 years' experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • 5 years' experience with AI Security
  • 2 years' of experience with Cyber Security Frameworks; NIST 800-53, SANS Top 20, OWASP Top 10
  • US Citizen with ability to pass a DHS specific clearance


 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, data science, or mathematics
  • Deep knowledge of cloud technologies; particularly AWS
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security Frameworks; NIST 800-53, SANS Top 20, OWASP Top 10
  • 5 years experience with cloud technologies: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • 5 years experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Well organized with ability to communicate complex topics effectively across teams
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to make business recommendations that will increase productivity and cut costs
