Restaurant Host

We are seeking a personable and organized individual to join our team as a Restaurant Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess will be responsible for warmly greeting patrons, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

        •       Warmly greeting guests as they arrive, engaging with them in a friendly and welcoming manner.
        •       Managing reservations and seating assignments efficiently, taking into account table availability, server rotations, and guest preferences.
        •       Communicating with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and ensure optimal flow of service.
        •       Providing accurate wait time estimates and managing guest expectations during peak dining hours.
        •       Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host/hostess station and lobby area.
        •       Assisting with miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the front-of-house team.

Requirements:

        •       Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
        •       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members.
        •       Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
        •       A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to our guests.
        •       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
        •       Proficiency in reservation management software is a plus.
