Gallery Coordinator

Duties:

• ● Greet and assist visitors, providing information about the artists and artisans featured in the gallery

• ● Meet and exceed sales goals

• ● Coordinate all aspects of daily gallery operations

• ● Handle the Installation and merchandising of all artwork and goods

• ● Assist with marketing and promotional efforts

• ● Manage inventory and sales transactions, including processing payments and preparing invoices

• ● Assist with event planning and execution, including openings, artist talks, and special exhibitions

• ● Maintain accurate records of artwork, sales, and client interactions

• ● Oversee and coordinate the gallery's social media.

• ● Serve as the primary point of contact for Vesper residents utilizing 84E.'s art curation service

Minimum Requirements:

• ● Valid driver’s license

• ● Ability to pass a background check

• ● Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• ● Ability to work onsite Thursday-Sunday 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm

• ● Minimum 2 years in a gallery or art-related setting

• ● Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Suite tools

• ● Experience working with artists as well as handling and installing art

• ● Sales oriented with the ability to promote and sell artwork and goods to gallery visitors

• ● Strong interpersonal skills

Additional Qualifications:

• ● Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field strongly preferred

• ● Proficiency in art inventory management software (Art Cloud)

• ● Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign is a positive

• ● Highly organized with the ability to maintain gallery aesthetic and cleanliness

• ● Previous experience in a gallery, retail, or customer service role
