Spherion Staffing is collaborating with a reputable client in Bryan/College Station, Texas, to identify a talented Legal Assistant. This critical role involves providing comprehensive support to the legal team in matters related to real estate transactions and contracts.

Responsibilities:
Document Preparation:
Draft and prepare legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, leases, deeds, and closing documents.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements and client specifications.

Due Diligence:
Conduct thorough research and due diligence on properties, including title searches, surveys, and zoning regulations.
Identify and address any potential issues or discrepancies.

Transaction Support:
Assist attorneys in managing real estate transactions from initiation to closing.
Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction process.

Closing Coordination:
Coordinate and schedule real estate closings, ensuring all necessary documentation and funds are in place.
Attend closings and provide assistance as needed to facilitate a smooth process.


Client Communication:
Communicate with clients to provide updates on transaction status and address any questions or concerns.
Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and requests.

Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records for real estate transactions.
Ensure compliance with document retention policies and legal requirements.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 AM

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
5+ years experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or similar role.
Strong knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and transaction processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Certifications:
Paralegal certification
