Palmer Group is partnering with an area manufacturer to search for an Inventory Analyst. This person will be crucial in analyzing historical data, market trends, and demand patterns to predict future inventory needs. Our client offers substantial pay and excellent training/development. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize statistical models and software to forecast product demand based on historical sales data, seasonality, and external factors
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
  • Coordinate with production teams to align inventory levels with production schedules and lead times
  • Identify potential risks, such as supply chain disruptions and demand fluctuations, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Generate regular reports on inventory performance, forecast accuracy, and recommend improvements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in a manufacturing environment with inventory experience
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in supply chain management preferred
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Utilization of ERP and MRP system
  • Strong organization and communication skills
