The Die Cast Operator operates the die cast machine and trim press machine to produce aluminum cast parts in accordance with quality specifications.
$19.00/hour1st Shift - 6:30am - 2:30pm2nd shift - 2:30pm - 10:30pm3rd Shift - 10:30pm - 6:30amDie Cast Operator Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate all cell equipment including Die cast machines, Trim presses, Automatic sprayers, Extraction equipment, Hoists, Holding Furnaces, Tip Lubricators, Hot Oil Units, Vacuum Units, Metal Lading Equipment, Shot Blast Equipment
  • Performs all basic PM’s and repairs to ensure machine upkeep.
  • Assist and/or perform die changes and sampling.
Die Cast Operator Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Two- or three-year automated manufacturer’s degree or equivalent from technical college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees are expected to work and attend in-person meetings as necessary.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., but may be required to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
