Sentech Services is searching for a Team Lead in our Auburn IN location.

3rd shift - Full time with benefits.

$22.00 to $26.00 - Bases on experience.

Team Lead - Die Cast Area

Position Summary: The Team Lead will lead a team of production associates in the Die Cast Area, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining a positive work environment.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Minimum of two years in Die Cast working in a manufacturing environment

Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies:

  • Experience as a Back-Up Team Lead
  • Ability to effectively interact with Die Cast Operators, Engineers, and Supervision
  • Strong team coaching and motivational skills
  • Proficient in computer programs, spreadsheets, and database applications

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Die Cast Operators in a positive work environment
  • Effectively communicate company expectations and priorities to all team members
  • Ensure work is performed in a safe, efficient manner to meet daily goals
  • Direct work and recommend actions regarding employee activities, including hiring, performance evaluation, and discipline
  • Facilitate continuous quality improvement of production operations by ensuring products meet customer specifications and adequate resources are available
  • Train employees in die cast operation, safety, and 4-step training
  • Maintain cell 5S housekeeping standards
  • Perform 5S housekeeping, safety audits, LPA audits, and continuous improvements
  • Lead weekly team meetings, including team safety stretches, tracking attendance, charting cell production boards, and managing S, Q, D, C metrics
  • Utilize Back-Up Team Lead in Team Lead responsibilities
